The 2018 US Geography Olympiad National Championships for the Middle School and Elementary Divisions will take place on Friday evening, June 1 in conjunction with the 2018 US Academic Bee and Bowl National Championships and the National History Bee and Bowl Middle School and Elementary National Championships in Atlanta, Georgia.

The cost is $80 per student for the US Geography Olympiad alone. Note the following combined prices:
$150 – US Geography Olympiad and International Geography Bee
$220 – Includes all of the following: US Academic Bee, US Geography Olympiad & International Geography Bee, and either the National Humanities Bee or National Science Bee

If you are looking to take advantage of the $220 USAB/USGO/IGB and NSB or NHB combo offer, please use the general USABB Nationals form to register which can be found here.

Note also that all competing students in IGB at Middle School and Elementary Division Nationals are also welcome to compete in the US Academic Bee, as well as either the National Science Bee or the National Humanities Bee held that same weekend! Full information on all these events is available at

Registration will run until about two weeks before the competition. Please ensure that registration fees for USGO are paid for separately from US Academic Bee and Bowl / National Science Bee / National Humanities Bee / National Academic Battery Exam fees, though they can be combined on the same check with any fees for the US National Championships of the International Geography Bee. USGO fees should be paid by check payable to “US Geography Olympiad” and sent to:
